Trump continues the debate: Someone tell the Pope that Iran has killed 42,000 protesters

Donald Trump has reacted again in strong tones on his social network, targeting both Pope Leo XIV and NATO.
In one of the posts, the US president stressed that it is "completely unacceptable" for Iran to possess nuclear weapons, also claiming that the regime in Tehran has killed tens of thousands of protesters in recent months.
"Someone should inform the Pope that Iran has killed 42,000 innocent, unarmed protesters in just two months, and that a nuclear-armed Iran is unacceptable," Trump wrote.
Just a few minutes later, he published another reaction, this time with direct criticism of NATO, claiming that the alliance has not been on the side of the United States and will not be in the future.
"NATO was not there for us and it will not be there for us," Trump said.
