The Tirana Local Police Directorate has announced that, in the framework of the “YE” musical activity, which will take place today in the Kashari area, temporary traffic restrictions will be implemented on several road axes of the capital. According to the official announcement, from 07:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the secondary axis of the Durrës-Tirana highway, from the “Eiffel” area to “Casa Italia”. This segment will function only with an exit direction for entities operating in the area.
During the same time interval, the exit lane of the Durrës-Tirana highway at the “Casa Italia” roundabout will also be blocked. Meanwhile, from 12:00 to 24:00, traffic will not be allowed on the “Casa Italia” segment - “Pavarësia” street - “Sokrat Miho” street, as well as on the “Sokrat Miho” street - “Kasem Shima” street - “7 Nëntori” street segment, which will only operate in the exit direction.
The Police informs that there may also be partial traffic blockages on the axis from the Institute Bridge to “Casa Italia”, depending on the flow of participants, in order to manage traffic and guarantee the safe development of the activity. During the restricted hours, only emergency vehicles and State Police vehicles will have access to the blocked areas. The Tirana Police calls on citizens to show understanding, plan their movements in advance, use alternative axes and follow the instructions of the Police officers engaged in the field.
