Ilva Dodaj, among New York's top professionals for 2023

ENR New York has selected the top young professionals of 2023 in the field of engineering. Among the top 20 is also an Albanian, the architect Ilva Doda, who was selected among 80 candidates.
As an architectural lighting designer with 15 years of experience in the field, Ilva Dodaj has led and managed the delivery of many diverse and challenging projects throughout the US and Canada. Among them, the recently opened Delta Terminal C at LaGuardia Airport, Moynihan Train Hall in New York City, and the interior of Toronto's Union Station. In addition to winning numerous international and national awards for her projects, Dodaj was also selected as the 2021 Architectural Lighting Designer of the Year by Designing Lighting magazine. At her alma mater, the ÇNY School of Architecture, she serves as an adjunct professor of architectural lighting. She is often invited to award juries;
