ONE Telecommunications and ALBtelecom legally merge to become ONE Albania

ONE Albania SHA, the new integrated company was successfully registered on January 1, becoming one of the most important actors with its networks and services in the Albanian market.
After the historic acquisition of ALBtelecom and ONE Telecommunications last year by the Hungarian information and communication technology company 4iG Group, the merger of these two companies reached another important legal step. The merger of ALBtelecom, the leading provider of fixed telephony, internet and TV, and ONE Telecommunications, the second fastest growing mobile operator in the market, reached one of the final stages of the process, creating ONE Albania, the company registered on January 1.

The year 2023 started with a legal step of integration with a new name, ONE Albania. The combined company inherits the incumbent operator's largest fixed network and a high-quality, fastest-growing mobile operator network. The 4iG Group appointed the company's joint management team at the end of July 2022 and launched the first combined product on September 1, 2022. As previously announced, Emil Georgakiev will lead the company ONE Albania, in the position of General Executive Director.

As a nationwide provider of four products (4P), ONE Albania will bring a wide range of services to the telecommunications market. Also, the company aims to be a leader in the market of information and communication technology services in Albania.
