Today, President Ilir Meta decorated the People's Hero, Avni Rustemi, with the National Flag Decoration, after his death.
The news was announced by the President himself, through a post on "Facebook" where he writes that it is an honor to decorate the figure of Avni Rustemi with the highest decoration of the Republic of Albania.
The award comes on the 125th anniversary of his birth and the Head of State expresses gratitude for his patriotic act.
