Another beloved artist Pirro Mani is extinguished

The actor and director of the National Theater Pirro Mani dies at the age of 89. For years he and his wife, Pavlina Mani, lived in the United States.

Mani was born in Korça on April 14, 1932 to stand out as one of the most prominent personalities in the history of Albanian theater. The famous director, after graduating from the University "GITIS" in Moscow, he worked for 25 years at the National Theater, where he met his wife, the famous actress Pavlina Mani.

For the Albanian public, Mani has become famous with the role of Sali Protopapa, in the movie "The Eighth in Bronze (1970)", while he also plays the lead role in "The First Years", with the character of Stavri Lara.

The actor in his artistic career counts over 80 performances and has been honored with many awards, along with the high title "People's Artist", a title he received a year ago.
