It choked me, but luckily I'm not destroyed, because I have a network of friends and family who support me." This is how Paola Belloni commented on the photos and rumors about her relationship with the secretary of the Democratic Party in Italy Elly Schlein.
In a long message on Instagram, Belloni accuses the newspaper that published her photos a few weeks ago revealing her face, of exposing her against her will: " I understand that being the partner of a public figure made you think you had the right to expose me," she says.
"In Italy we don't have egalitarian marriages, we don't have protection for sons and daughters of families with the same parents, we don't have a law against homosexuality and transphobia". Perhaps, precisely for these reasons, we should not wait for a paper to come out and anticipate it.
