Running alone, Monika Kryemadhi is re-elected president of the SMI!

With an expected result, as Monika Kryemadhi ran alone in the SMI internal elections for the post of chairwoman, she was declared the winner. She received 42,807 votes in favor and 1,300 against, out of 44,413 voters, after the voting that took place yesterday by the members of this party.

Kryemadhi thus took the second term at the head of the SMI, according to Caka, the votes against Kryemadhi were 1302, while 304 votes were invalid.

The result was published by Silva Caka, Chairwoman of the SMI Election Commission. The SMI implemented electronic voting within the party for the first time.

"We would like to inform you that due to the curfew from 22:00 to 06:00, the election materials for some polling stations outside the Tirana district were submitted to the Central Election Commission this morning. Based on the summary tables of results, we confirm that the process of counting the ballots for the chairman of the Socialist Movement for Integration has been completed. From the administered results, 44,413 members voted, out of which 42,807 voted in favor of the candidate for president of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Mrs. Monika Kryemadhi. "Based on the above results, the Central Election Commission announces the chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Monika Kryemadhin", said Caka.

In the elections for the delegates of the National Convention and the President of the SMI, participated 44,413 members or 80.7% of the membership. Voting was online and at polling stations, where figures provided by Silva Caka indicate that 28,285 SMI members voted physically and over 16,128 members voted online.
