Nelson Peltz has spoken publicly for the first time about the clashes between his daughter, Nicola, and the Beckham family. During an interview on WSJ Invest Live, the billionaire joked about the intense media attention.
"My family has been in the news lately? I didn't notice at all," he said with humor. He added that his advice is to stay away from the media, because "it doesn't do you any good."
While Brooklyn Beckham has said that his parents tried to damage his relationship with Nicola, Nelson Peltz showed full support for the couple.
"My daughter is wonderful. My son-in-law, Brooklyn, is wonderful," he said, adding that he wished them a long and happy marriage. "The rest is not for the media to discuss today."
