A detail that has not escaped fashion followers: Kim Kardashian's appearance at the 2026 Met Gala has brought back to mind one of Bleona Qereti's most discussed moments, a full 11 years ago.
At the 2015 Grammy Awards, held in California, the Albanian singer appeared in a very provocative and transparent "body" dress, which made the rounds of the world. The dress was designed by Albanian stylist Shpëtim Zero, while Bleona herself declared at the time on Facebook that the idea had been hers.
Meanwhile, at this year's edition of the Met Gala, with the theme "Costume Art", Kardashian appeared with a look inspired, if not copied, by Bleona's sensational appearance.
Kim chose a custom metallic bodice paired with a leather skirt, an artistic concept created by Allen Jones, in collaboration with designers Patrick Whitaker and Keir Malem, and creative director Nadia Lee Cohen.
