A court has sentenced an Australian man to 9 days in prison for throwing himself at singer Ariana Grande during a movie premiere.
26-year-old Johnson Wen was found guilty of disorderly conduct after he jumped barriers and approached Grande at the Asian premiere of the film Wicked: For Good last week.
Footage on social media shows him grabbing the singer by the shoulders as she appears shaken. Authorities said the punishment is a warning against dangerous behavior at public events.
