George Clooney humorously comments on the Louvre robbery: As a professional thief, I'm proud of them

During the premiere of his new Netflix film, Jay Kelly, George Clooney joked about the recent Louvre robbery, sarcastically saying he was "proud" of the thieves. The actor's comment was in reference to his famous role as Danny Ocean in the Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen trilogy.
"It's terrible... but as a professional thief like me, I was very proud of those guys," Clooney said humorously.
The actor also confirmed that "Ocean's Fourteen" is in development, and that it will reunite the original cast: Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle.
Asked if the new film will feature a Louvre-style heist, Clooney jokingly replied: "Someone's already done it... maybe this time we'll rob Adam Sandler."
Filming is expected to begin in 2026, while Jay Kelly will be released in theaters on November 14 and on Netflix on December 5.
