Gabriel Garko declared his homosexuality and not everyone believed him. The Italian actor has continued his story in "Verissimo".
He showed the 11-year relationship with his boyfriend that no one revealed to him and the tricks of how he hid from society.
"14 years ago, I forgot everything and ran away from everyone. Richardo and I lived together, but it was a period of fake, false situations. When friends came to dinner, he pretended to run home in front of them, to 'came back later.When we went on vacation we were always a group, accompanied by other people, but we were together for 11 years.Today I took off the mask.Finally, after 3 and a half years, being away from the shadows "I had the opportunity to be inside my own skin. I realized I was not feeling better, so the need to get out was urgent," said Garko.
"I was afraid that if I showed my sexual orientation I would not be able to work anymore. I was afraid that the public would feel mocked, but at the end of the day the one who was mocked was me. I had very difficult moments, "Terrible thoughts, but today I am happy for who I am and because I probably would not be this if I did not go through what I went through. Now people can know me for who I really am," adds Garko.
