'Peja' withdraws from the Beer Festival in Korça, Kosovo journalist: Brezovic never incited Serbs, here is who did it

The debate on the network is continuing on the invitation of the singer from Sarajevo, Goran Bregovic, who will perform at the Beer Festival in Korca, which starts on August 18. One of his songs, entitled Kalashnikov, known to Albanians, has received much controversy and has been used as an inspirational song by wartime Serbian soldiers. This has led many to oppose his arrival, mainly from Kosovo. Birra Peja according to Kosovo media has confirmed that it will not be part of the cooperation with Birra Korça and has withdrawn from the festival.
But for the whole situation and stay mainly in Kosovo, even among artists, the Kosovo Albanian journalist Una Hajdari reacted. The correspondent of the Reporters Without Borders organization, says that the accusations against the singer are unfair. From Twitter, she writes that Bregovic has never written music and lyrics with hateful rhetoric about Kosovo, nor has he inspired the violence of Serbian soldiers against Albanians: Not that there are others who do , she says.
She calls for Kosovo to stop police behavior against Albania, just because it is inviting a Slavic singer to a concert who has never used rhetoric for massacres, ever!
Full Twitter reaction:
Unlike those who actually write music calling for massacres, Goran Bregovic has not done so. The media in Kosovo and others claim that the Serbian army and police listened to his music, but this does not mean that he inspired the massacres.
He is a complacent human being who likes to have good relationships with everyone, does not really understand trademarks or copyright and exoticizes Roma music. But he has not called for massacres.
I also remember an incident with Zdravko Colic who was attacked by the Kosovo media before going to Tirana in 2014 and performing. Zdravko Colic is the gold standard of a musician who did not promote and does not promote music or nationalist beliefs.
Kosovo's policing on how to relate to artists from the former Yugoslavia should be banned, especially for those who can rejoice knowing that they never promoted hateful rhetoric.
In response to the reactions, the artists who wrote songs to inspire the massacres during the conflict in Yugoslavia are: Baja Mali Knindza, Thompson, Ceca, Rade Jorovic, Lepi Mica, etc. And a mention of Emir Kusturica as a filmmaker who has made the most disgusting rhetoric.
Birra Peja announced that it is withdrawing from the beer festival in Korça. Interestingly, Korça and Peja are probably two of the most popular beers in Kosovo and Albania so your patriotism can come with a marketing strategy approach.
