Namik Ajazi and Visar Zhiti make the film the true story of the Spaç Revolt

It is still in progress, it is still a project idea, but new creations are always news. Cinematographer and director Namik Ajazi, invited to "ABC of the morning", in an interview with Enkel Demi, showed his plans for the new project dedicated to the Spaç Revolt, which these days, May 21-23, has its 47th anniversary.
The director points out that the idea came naturally to him 2 years ago, in the postproduction of another film, and he proposed to Visar Zhiti to write the screenplay.

This is also the most interesting detail of this creation: Ajazi and Zhiti are both former political prisoners.
During the interview, Namik Ajazi testified that Visari himself had witnessed the revolt after being imprisoned in 1973. "I was not a witness, I was convicted in '87, Visari was released from prison in '86, he experienced the uprising," said Ajazi.
The director also revealed the title: "It will be called the provisional title" Rebellion in Hell ", because Spaçi, like all other prisons, was a real hell.
The biggest challenge is creating a prison from scratch, in the absence of a museum prison that would help make the scenes happen.
"A prison must be built from scratch and we don't have it. The film is still an idea, the literary script has been completed, we are working to make it technical. I will then present it to find the budget and the caste he needs with 45 characters and 300 figurants " , said the director Namik Ajazi.
This is not the first time his work has been based on real events. Even the last two feature films "Amanet" and "Unfinished Portrait" were built on real events.
