Mango founder's son in custody! Investigation into his father's death reopened

Mango has been embroiled in a shocking incident, after the son of the company's founder, Jonathan Andic, was arrested in connection with the death of his father, renowned businessman Isak Andic.
Jonathan Andic, 45, was detained by Catalan police on Tuesday, after the reopening of the investigation into the fashion billionaire's death, which was initially treated as an accident.
Isak Andic died in December 2024 after falling from a cliff while hiking in the Montserrat mountains near Barcelona. He was with his son at the time of the incident, although media reports have varied about the presence of other family members.
Jonathan Andic has previously denied any responsibility for his father's death. The family told the media that he is cooperating with authorities and that they fully believe in his innocence.
According to reports, the investigation was reopened after authorities found inconsistencies in Jonathan's testimony. After appearing in court, he was released on bail of 1 million euros. His passport was also confiscated and he was ordered to appear in court every week.
Isak Andic founded Mango in 1984 in Barcelona with his brother. Today, the company operates nearly 3,000 stores in over 120 countries around the world. According to Forbes, his fortune was estimated at around $4.5 billion at the time of his death.
