Bamir Topi: The hearth of pus in the DP is Berisha, not Basha! It is not gained except by raising two fingers upwards

Former president and former senior exponent of PD, Bamir Topi invited to the show "This Week" commented on the April 25 elections and the events that followed, especially after the loss of PD and the reaction of this party after the loss.
Topi has commented negatively on the voices calling for Basha's resignation, adding that the evil of the DP is Sali Berisha and they should direct the attacks against him and not against the "de jure" chairman of the Democrats.
Excerpts from the conversation with journalist Nisida Tufa:
SP gets a third governing mandate. How did you see it as an election process?
Topi: I saw two camps where one camp that is considered the winner was a bed of inertia of an ordinary campaign, I also saw an optimism of an opposition leader. In fact here we are today, the story is different. We have a confirmation for the third time of Mr. Rama, who comes to power without any effort.
Even the first two campaigns have been as symbolic steering wheel and pan. This third proves that things here in Albania are of their own kind. From the opposition camp a political behavior that is demonstrated by extreme actions and is not defended. Here we are today, reconfirmation for the third time and loss for the fourth time.
Ball: Gatherings are not always indicators of victory. It is a feature of the meetings of the DP and the right, which brings enthusiasm, based on the appearance of the psychological side. Today, after almost 30 years, we are in the same show. Things in my opinion should have changed, even from the point of view of demonstration. As is the new leadership, the form and content of the campaign should be something else. It's the same scene.
Two fingers high, hip on the car. 50 people to create the atmosphere as if they are 5 thousand people and nothing more. We come to the third campaign of the socialists, where the dissatisfaction of the society is clear, obvious and here comes the paradoxical result. Edi Rama's weak campaign and he comes again. Victory is not in words.
Why lose PD? Whose fault is it?
Topi: I will look in some way to use a metaphor from the field of medicine. It is about a sick organism, Mr. Basha represents the sign of pain, while the focus of pain is elsewhere. I saw in the PD, in the people who came out after the loss, who were grouped in two directions, on one side to overthrow Basha. and the second; the haste of a part to defend a priori Basha.
Both sides, whether those who were expelled in 20017 or those who are not part of the list now, lack sincerity, hypocrisy, go and throw arrows elsewhere. The hearth is Berisha. It would be wrong of me if I slipped on the personal plane. Mr. Berisha himself knows, because he knows who better than him.
I know because he is a man who has built that climate himself. I know full well that it is not enough to be happy to have government. If today I will say what are the most important institutions in Albania? He is the prime minister and chairman of the opposition. They are almost equivalent in political power. Therefore, this is the reason for the great battle for maintaining the position of the leader of the opposition.
