Former Minister of Justice in the time of PD Eduard Halimi has returned to politics. He has accepted the proposal of the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, to become the special coordinator of the Democratic Party for the administration of electoral issues.
In the interview for News 24 he has indicated that he will not be a candidate for deputy.
'I accepted Basha's proposal, I will not be a candidate for deputy but I will give the contribution to coordinate the work between the leaders of the regions'.
Eduard Halimi, 48, left politics to engage in his private activities. He was an MP in Berat when he announced his departure. At the time of his departure, in 2018 there were allusions that it was a scheme orchestrated by the parish 'leaders'.
It is not known whether this move by Basha will have a positive impact, when we are separated a few weeks before the April 21 parliamentary elections.
