DP militants try to block the Prime Minister’s escort, Rama: Who blocks the elections will face 1 to 5 years in prison

Earlier today, when the Prime Minister was trying to enter Librazhd, a group of the opposition’s militants tried to block his way by throwing firecrackers at the cars. The police force that was present, stopped the assault and arrested the offenders. Mr. Rama gave his statement during his speech in Librazhd regarding what happened.
“I’ve heard them chant 1997, 1997! But with who will they go to battle? With those poor 100 men that were blocking our way at the city’s entrance? With the ones that were throwing firecrackers at us? With those that are led by blind politicians such as Meta, Basha, Berisha and Monika?! Well let me tell the this: Today you guys broke the law; and preventing the electoral campaign is considered a felony that can get you 1 to 5 years in prison. These people are sacrificing their freedom, and for who? The four adventurers that are driving the opposition toward an unknown direction. On June 30th we will continue with our plan, and those that will try and stop us, will face the law, and not only the Albanian law. The U.S. government pointed the finger at Basha and Kryemadhi as the only responsible regarding the violations that may happen, saying that their right to travel to the U.S. will be revoked.
