In the "Sy m'sy" section on social media, Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to his followers about the new railway network in the country. He stated that by 2030, work will have started on all the railways, while at the beginning of the next decade they will be ready.
"This project has nothing to do with the elections, but when Austrian consultants have determined that the best option is the transition from Shkodra to Gjakova. How much it will cost, this will be revealed in the detailed project, which will be done by an international expert and approved by the European Investment Fund for the Western Balkans, but it is certain that nothing can be done without money. Whether it will be finished or not, this is not in the hands of those who curse from the cafes of Pristina, but those who work in the trenches of the future.
Erzen, Rudinë, the railway program is a new and comprehensive package, the time for which has now come and has been opened with Tirana-Rinas-Durrës, which is nearing completion.
"The delays in starting work on that railway were related to Albania's weak position when even the EU and its banks did not take us seriously. Today it is a different story and we are in advanced projects. All these railways will start in a row and no later than 2030 and at the beginning of the next decade they will all be in operation and you will also be able to use the train", said Rama
