Fabio Volo has spoken for the first time about the separation from his wife, with whom he has two sons, 9-year-old Sebastian and 7-year-old Gabriel. The explanation he gives for the decision to break up is so real, true and at the same time like in the books.
"It's not that Johanna and I don't love each other anymore, just because we're not together anymore.
If two people in a relationship don't bring out the best in each other, they can stay together long enough to say they've been together for fifty years as if it were a prize, or continue to love each other even if they're not under the same roof. I would have stayed with Johanna for the rest of my life, if it had gone well.
But if there isn't something in the couple to keep me alive, I can't go on.
