Gender is determined by the father
There are people who still believe that the sex of the baby depends on the mother. In fact, gender depends entirely on the father. Because the sperm carries chromosomes for both sexes, some sperm carry X chromosomes for girls, while others carry Y chromosomes for boys. Thus the mother only gives X, it depends on the father whether she will give X or Y.

However, scientists have found several factors that can affect gender. It has been proven that after stressful periods, like natural disasters or the pandemic we are going through, the gender ratio changes, having more newborn girls. This may be due to the stress to which couples are exposed.
Eating specific foods can lead to greater chances of having a daughter
It has been proven that eating certain foods increases the chances of having a girl. For example, eating less salt and eating more dairy by-products can increase your chances of having a baby girl. On the other hand, mothers whose diets are full of foods rich in sodium and potassium are more likely to give birth to boys.
